Through a Nature-Based lens, we can shift how we conceptualize neurodivergence by moving away from pathology and toward curiosity, validation, and sensory-affirming inclusion.

Learn how to design and facilitate sensory-affirming and grounding experiences that honor neurodivergent expression. This session focuses on adapting Nature-Based practices regardless of setting to create inclusive spaces that support co-regulation, reflection, and authentic connection. Explore and learn to create Nature-Based interventions that authentically support common therapeutic goals.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of Part 2, participants will be able to:
- Identify environmental adaptations (e.g., light, sound, texture, movement, temperature) that promote sensory-affirming spaces.
- Design Nature-Based interventions that support sensory regulation, grounding, and reflection for neurodivergent clients.
- Integrate Nature collaboration ethically and intentionally into client-centered care.
- Implement strategies to co-create inclusive, attuned, and reflective interventions across settings (office, outdoor, and virtual).
