Free professional opportunities to connect
Offering free professional Nature Centered opportunities allows us to cultivate a diverse community of connected professionals. We recognize that though there are numerous professionals interested in professionally collaborating with Nature, everyone is scattered around the world with no centralized place to meet that doesn’t also include additional barriers (e.g. location, paywall, subscriptions). In spirit of reciprocity of what this community has already helped to cultivate, we want to hold special dedicated spaces where we can all meet.

Monthly Virtual Professional Networking Meeting
We host a free 1-hour virtual Nature Based Therapy Professional Networking meeting on the first Wednesday of every month from 12-1pm PST. We would love to have any professional interested in Nature Based Therapy to join us in building up this community! This meeting will be free of PHI and focus on sharing resources, ideas, and inspiration related to Nature Based Therapy. We will have open discussions, as well as presentations from various Nature Based Professionals.
Free Nature-Based Email List-Serv
The Nature-Based Professional Google Group is a collaborative Email List-Serv created by Grow With Nature to help professionals stay connected, supported, and inspired. We have Nature-Based professionals from all over the world participating in amazing and inspiring conversations!
This group is designed for clinicians, educators, medical providers, and other helping professionals who incorporate Nature-based approaches into their work.

Free Outdoor Professional Retreats
We love hosting free outdoor professional retreats to the local professionals in the greater Portland, OR area as a way to connect and give back to our community. We craft special experiences by holding a safe space to sit in the magic of Nature and invite restorative opportunities, highlighting ways that Grow With Nature can provide experiential outdoor opportunities for professionals to reconnect, recharge, and promote a restorative professional relationship with Nature. And, of course, we love to “yes, and…” through opportunities to play together.
Currently we offer 1 grad student focused professional retreat in the spring, and 2 general professional retreats in the spring and fall (open to any professionals, grad students also welcomed).
